IN MY SHOP

Tuition is $400* for private tuition for two days, including practice material, two lunches and a dinner.

For those that may wish a one-day session for review or because of shortage of time, I offer these options: (1) 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including practice material and lunch--$200*; (2) 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., including practice material, lunch and dinner--$250*.

IN YOUR SHOP (TWO OPTIONS)

(1) If you wish me to come to your place from Florida, tuition is $400* for two days instruction with your providing practice material. You would also provide room, meals, my transportation expenses and travel time expenses. Of course the cost of these extras are balanced by your having no personal travel time or travelling expenses. Tuition for two students in your shop with two lathes would be $600*. For three days, tuition would be $560* for one and $860* for two.

(2) When, during the summer, I am staying with friends and family in Westminster West, VT, or Scituate, MA, I may have time to work with you. The tuition is $400* for two days of instruction with your providing practice material, room and board. Driving charges from where I happen to be staying to your home are based on mileage. We'll work on a two-day schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. the first day and 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the second day. A single day is also possible as when in my shop.

*One- and two-day tuition includes a set of the "Zimmerman Turning Letters," a 158 page detailed and indexed review of what you have done in class, plus technical analysis of turning theory and practice. Also miscellaneous stories of interest to turners.
